Model Jill Goodacre has spoken up for Erin Heatherton after the former Victoria’s Secret star revealed she was asked by the company to lose weight.
Jill – who is married to Harry Connick Jr – showed her support for Erin and insisted that ”there should be no pressure to lose weight”.
She told E! News: ”I think every female should be happy in their own skin and if you see a curvy woman, that’s beautiful.
”I mean, you exude how you feel and there should be no pressure to lose weight. I think that’s wrong, I really do.”
Erin – who became a Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2010, just two years after first walking for the lingerie giant – hung up her wings after feeling the pressure of having to look perfect all the time.
Speaking to TIME magazine about her body image issues, the blonde beauty said: ”My last two Victoria’s Secret shows, I was told I had to lose weight. I look back, like, ‘Really?’
”I was really depressed because I was working so hard and I felt like my body was resisting me.”
