It’s his first time hosting the 2014 ESPY Awards and Drake sure has some big shoes to follow. With previous emcees including Jon Hamm and Seth Meyers, the Canadian rapper had a lot of hype to live up to and so far, he’s doing a marvelous job.
During his opening monologue, Drake poked fun at everyone from LeBron James to Donald Sterling – two prominent figures in the world of sports news in the past few months.
Fellow stars weren’t the only targets. The “Pound Cake” singer also made fun of his himself for jumping on sports bandwagons and joked he sticks with teams for life… “until you start losing — then you’re dead to me.”
Meanwhile, the air got a little steamy when NBA star Lance Stephenson “blew” on Drake. Check out the full clip below!
