Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has posted on her Facebook page that it’s time for Donald Trump to take a powder.
“Enough! Donald Trump should not be President. He should withdraw,” Rice, who served as W’s national security adviser and then Secretary of State, wrote. “As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth.”
Despite the increasingly loud GOP din, Trump this morning told the Wall Street Journal “I never, ever give up” and that it’s only the media and the political establishment who are blasting him since the Washington Post released a 2005 audio and video tape of Trump talking to NBC News’ Billy Bush, then host of Access Hollywood, about his fame having brought him the ability to kiss, grope and shag women with impunity.
Caught on a hot mic, Trump told Bush, “When you’re a star they let you do it…Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.”
Meanwhile Rudy Giuliani, emerging from Trump Tower this evening, dismissed as pure horseradish a hyperventilating reporter’s suggestion the candidate might bail on tomorrow night’s debate.
