Insurgent Media has tapped sales executive Christian De Gallegos as the company’s new Head of International Sales. De Gallegos will oversee international sales for Insurgent Media’s slate, reporting directly to CEO Ezna Sands.
De Gallegos most recently ran sales at Green-Light International, handling titles including: Imperium starring Daniel Radcliffe, among others. Before that, he was President of International Film Trust, where he handled titles including Cymbeline starring Ethan Hawke, Milla Jovovich and Dakota Johnson, and Werner Herzog’s Salt & Fire. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales at Voltage Pictures, and he began his career at Paradigm Talent Agency.
Insurgent Media’s upcoming projects includes a partnership with VICE Films, 20th Century Fox and Chimney Pot to produce and finance Lords of Chaos. The film co-written and to be directed by Jonas Åkerlund will star Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Jack Kilmer, Valter Skarsgård and Sky Ferreira.
