EXCLUSIVE: Chloe Moretz is negotiating to star in The Wilderness Of James, an indie film coming of age tale that was scripted by Michael Johnson, who will make his directorial debut. The film takes place in Portland and is the coming of age story about a young boy dealing with absence of his father.
Super Crispy is producing the low budget indie and shooting is scheduled to begin next month. Moretz is in discussions to play the role of Val opposite Kodi Smitt-McPhee. This deal is dependent on working out her fall schedule. Moretz, who wrapped the title role in the Kim Peirce-directed Carrie remake, will shoot the Jeff Wadlow-directed Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall for Universal. She is repped by WME and 3 Arts.
