For more than 18 seasons, Cheryl Burke has been turning Hollywood stars and athletes into ballroom pros on Dancing With the Stars.
While her moves and teaching skills have earned her a spot in the final two on four separate occasions, there is one season that just didn’t work out to well. Let us travel back to season 4 with Beverly Hills, 90210 alumna Ian Ziering.
“My least favorite [partner] would be Ian Ziering,” she confessed on Matt Weiss and Theo Von’s “Allegedly” podcast via TMZ. “The fact that is name is not EE-AN and it’s EYE-AN makes me want to throw up.”

When the hosts admitted that they didn’t exactly like his behavior on Celebrity Apprentice, Cheryl argued that the reality show showed his authentic self.
“That’s the true colors that they didn’t show on Dancing With the Stars,” she shared before the hosts described him as “captivating” and “very intense.”
“Think of spending time with that for like eight to 10 hours a day, seven days a week for three months,” Cheryl explained.

While the pair ultimately made it to fourth place in season four, Cheryl said the experience was far from a pleasant one. In fact, she confessed that she went to the higher ups to find a way to end the season early.
“It made me want to slit my wrists,” she said. “I was like crying to executives. I was like is there any way to please to just eliminate us? They’re like we can’t. We can’t do that and I swear, every time I asked, we just kept going. We would last till the end.”
