Consider our view of Leonardo DiCaprio forever changed, all thanks to Carpool Karaoke.
Tonight, James Corden debuted his first Late Late Show primetime special, featuring an all-new installment of the hit segment in which musicians ride to work with him while jamming out and generally having a good time. It wasJennifer Lopez turn this time, and while yes, a singalong to “Jenny from the Block” did happen, the standout moment had nothing to do with music. It actually had a lot more to do with the fact that JLo and Leonardo DiCaprio apparently address each other as Baby and Boo Boo.
Let us explain: At one point Corden took Lopez’ phone hostage and decided to text one of the famous people she had in her contacts. He had his pick of stars like Demi Lovato, Bradley Cooper, The Rock, Cristiano Ronaldo, Fergie, and Iggy Azalea, but he obviously chose Leo and sent him the following incredible text:
“Hey baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know, JLo, you know, from the block.”
Lopez looked a tad mortified, but Corden sent the text anyway. After a bit of rocking out to JLo’s hit “On the Floor,” her phone buzzed with DiCaprio’s reply, and it was the most perfect reply we could have ever hoped for.

“You mean tonight, Boo Boo? Club-wise?” the activist and Oscar-winning star of The Revenant texted back.
While nothing could top that response from DiCaprio, JLo’s reaction to that response was also pretty priceless.
“The funny part is that he actually thinks I’m serious,” she says. “I don’t…He thinks this was me!”
Aside from becoming club pals with Leo, Lopez also danced to “Booty” and revealed that she definitely did not insure her ass, despite what you might have heard.
Corden’s special also included a brand new song about being in primetime “after NCIS like a post-postmortem” and clips from some of his favorite segments. Adele’s Nicki Minaj rap made an appearance, as did that time Corden switched clothes with Justin Bieber and had Stevie Wonder call and serenade his wife.
Corden also revisited Crosswalk the Musical, in which he and a team of actors performed Grease in an LA intersection, and took a look at that time he tried to sell a home to Tyga with a Million Dollar Listing realtor.
As great as all of that was, nothing may ever top that time Leonardo DiCaprio called Jennifer Lopez “Boo Boo.”
The Late Late Show with James Corden airs weeknights at 12:35 p.m. on CBS.
