Without a doubt, Angelina Jolie‘s next big-screen project is going to be a huge success.

After receiving rave reviews before it’s Christmas Day release, many Hollywood experts believe Unbroken will be a box-office smash. But while fans and critics alike may be flocking to the film, we have to wonder if Jolie’s kids will be grabbing some popcorn to see mom’s new work on display.

“It’s PG-13,” Jolie told E! News. “My boys—one is 13, one is 11 but he’s a mature 11—will see it, but I think I might actually show my younger children.”

Jolie has four other children with Brad Pitt including Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8,  and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6.

“I think they could handle it because they understand film,” she explained. “They know the difference of what is real and what isn’t, because it’s heavy for [kids] under 13. But they all knew Louis [Zamperini]. They want to see it because it’s Louis.”

Unbroken is the adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand‘s bestselling book, which tells the story of Zamperini, a former Olympic athlete who fought in World War ll.

Following a frightening plane crash, the veteran spent 47 days drifting on a raft before being captured and imprisoned as a POW by Japanese forces.

He would ultimately survive his 24-month ordeal and inspire millions around the world by carrying the torch for the 1998 Olympic games.

“He was like a father and grandfather to me,” Jolie recently gushed to reporters. “I hope [the movie] gave him peace to know that he could pass away knowing that his message was strong, knowing that his life was long and full.”

While the question remains as to whether or not the entire Jolie-Pitt family will see the movie, the actress knows one of her kids will be completely honest in his review.

“My Maddox, the oldest,” Jolie shared when asked about her toughest critic. “It’s his job. He’s a teenager.”
