Brie Bella will return to WWE next year.
The 33-year-old professional wrestler has admitted her return to the ring is taking ”a little longer” than she expected following the birth of her daughter Birdie five months ago, but she’s assured fans she’ll be fighting fit by 2018 because she doesn’t want to have another baby with her husband Daniel Bryan until after her comeback.
Speaking to E! News, she said: ”Definitely 2018 for sure. Especially because I would like to have a second baby and I’m not going to start trying until after I make my comeback. So we let the boss know whenever he’s ready for us.”
But the brunette beauty has acknowledged that she still needs to do a lot of work before she’ll ready to return to the ring alongside her twin sister Nikki.
She explained: ”Granted I do have to do some training. I got into the ring and trained a couple times and I realised that my journey’s a little longer than I expected. So I’m starting next week, I’m going to start working with a personal trainer and we’re really gonna get me back in shape. Especially in ring shape, there’s a difference. So once I feel like boom, I’m ready for that then we’re going back together.”
However, for now, the ‘Total Divas’ star is enjoying bonding with her little girl.
She said recently: ”The best thing [about being a mom] is just the love you feel for your baby. The breastfeeding, that bond, and honestly, this was the first morning where she didn’t wake up to us, but when she wakes up, and her little eyes open, and they see you, this smile … and babies have innocent smiles, they don’t fake anything. They let you know exactly how they’re feeling. So it’s that genuine smile of like, ‘Mommy,’ and you’re just like, ‘Aww.’ I don’t want it to ever go away.”
