The mum-to-be documented her ride to the bash in Woodland Hills, California on Snapchat, sharing pictures of her plunging nude beaded dress and videos from the car, which is filled with her friends and family. The shower was reportedly hosted by her friend Sylvia Karapetian, who decided on a neutral colour scheme.
“There will be lots and lots of flowers,” a source told Us Weekly. “The theme is neutral – lots of whites and grays and greens. There will be lots of music and food and drinks.”
Most of Rob’s family were unable to attend as they were in Paris for Fashion Week but Scott Disick, the father of Kourtney Kardashian’s children can be seen working a variety of poses with Rob in photo booth pictures.
His sister Kim shared a Snapchat video showing her having a FaceTime chat with Chyna, but there was no sound.
“Hate when I post a video & accidentally mute the sound!” she wrote afterwards. “I was wishing Rob & Chyna a happy baby shower from Paris!”
The post came hours before Kim was robbed at gunpoint by a reported five armed men in the apartment building she was staying in. She was reportedly tied up and locked in her bathroom while they stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery. The reality star was left shaken but physically unharmed.
The shower comes a week after Rob’s family tried to organise a baby party for him. When he thought Chyna wasn’t invited, he flew into a rage and blasted his siblings on social media before tweeting his half-sister Kylie Jenner’s number.
He explained the dispute and publicly apologised to Kylie during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest on Friday (30Sep16).
“I thought they weren’t having Chyna at our baby shower,” he said. “Chyna’s baby shower is actually this Sunday, but they were trying to do a little surprise ‘guy’ baby shower for me, and I was just upset trying to fight for Chyna… It was literally miscommunication, and I probably shouldn’t have went on Twitter, but I did.”
The parents-to-be have asked for a $370 (£287) stroller, $350 (£272) video monitor, $270 (£210) breast pump, plus an electric bottle and food warmer and diaper, among more than 50 other items, according to the baby registry list obtained by Us Weekly.
