‘Bad Boys for Life’ administrators Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah felt anxious about Michael Bay’s cameo within the new film.
The 54-year-old filmmaker helmed the primary two movies within the ‘Bad Boys’ franchise and was invited to make a cameo look within the new movie, which sees Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reunite as detectives Mike Lowery and Marcus Burnett.
Speaking in regards to the cameo, Adil advised Collider: ”It was not that simple, really. He was doing ‘6 Underground’, so he was very, very busy.
”But for us, it was an homage, it was necessary, it was like having his blessing, so we did all the things to get him, and ultimately had that in the future, and for a really quick interval as a result of he was doing post-production, and we wished to do a Michael Bay shot with Michael Bay!
”There’s that 360 after which he turns, and another actor would have wanted ten takes to get it proper, however he bought it in a single take.”
Bay performs the MC on the marriage ceremony of Marcus’ daughter within the new film.
And the administrators felt wired by his look within the movie.
Adil shared: ”All of our crew had labored on his films and have been like, ‘Michael Bay’s hardcore,’ so we have been wired!”
