Audrina Patridge will be focusing on family this Thanksgiving.
The former ‘The Hills’ star – who split from her husband Corey Bohan and requested a temporary restraining order against him eight weeks ago – is keen to make this holiday all about her daughter Kirra and she is ”looking forward” to spending the day with her relatives.
She told E! News: ”We always do a big family gathering down here in the O.C. every year. I’m looking forward to enjoying the holiday and having all our little ones play together.
”This year Kirra will really be able to enjoy Thanksgiving now that she’s walking and a getting little bit older. Our aunt makes the best stuffing and we always looks forward to Grandma Betty’s homemade pies.”
It comes after a source revealed Audrina is working to get back to a ”normal” life.
They said: ”[Audrina] is doing OK and working on getting back to her normal life. She is starting to do things again with her friends, which has been good for her … Audrina is not looking to date right now. Her priority is her daughter.”
Audrina was granted full legal and physical custody of Kirra whilst Corey has been given visitation rights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays.
However, Corey has requested joint custody, as well as spousal support from his estranged wife, and asked the court to terminate the ability to award support to Audrina.
During the couple’s custody battle, Audrina leaned on her family.
A source said: ”She is extremely close with her parents [Lynne and Mark], brother [Marky] and sister and they are all supporting her. They’re a very tight family and protective of her. They just want what’s best for Audrina and Kirra.
”She’s devastated. This is the end of a long-term relationship and she never wanted this to happen. It’s a disappointment on so many levels to say the least. It’s painful and it’s really hard.”
