Ashley Roberts has praised British high street stores for providing fashionable clothing at ”reasonable prices”.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer spoke about her love of shopping in the UK while presenting the award for Best Trendsetter to River Island at ‘Lorraine’s High Street Fashion Awards in London last night (19.05.15).
She said: ”The UK has got it down, you walk down the high street and there is everything you need at reasonable prices, great trends that you can throw out and do something new the next day and that’s what I love about it!”
Meanwhile, The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge – who was a panellist at this year’s awards – admitted she’s found it much easier to dress her baby bump during her current pregnancy than she did when she was expecting her and her husband Wayne Bridge’s first child, son Parker.
Speaking as she presented the prize for Best Maternity Wear to Next, Frankie shared: ”When I was first pregnant, I saved all of my clothes and when I opened up my suitcase full of all my maternity-wear I thought, ‘I just want to burn it all, I never want to look at it again’. Whereas this time, I found there’s so much more of an option.”

Best Affordable Fashion – Primark
Best Curvy Collection – Simply Be
Best Department Store – Debenhams]
