Her accolades just keep on coming, and Ariana Grande was a guest of honor at the 2014 Billboard Women in Music Luncheon today (December 12) in New York City. The “Problem” singer took the stage at Cipriani Wall Street after her brother Frankie Grande gave a moving introduction.
Ariana told the star-studded crowd, “I want to share this honor with two women who inspired me — not you, Frankie, I’m sorry. My mama and my nonna.”

“I want to thank my mama for teaching me to work hard, and that behind every successful woman is herself. And I want to thank my nonna for taking me to my first audition and for teaching me to have compassion for the haters… I can’t wait to do music hopefully forever.”
