Angelina Jolie has reportedly taken herself and her children to therapy in the aftermath of her sudden split from husband Brad Pitt, according to new reports.
The 41 year old actress is said to have gone to therapy along with her six children after she filed for divorce from Pitt two weeks ago, claims a new article in People magazine. “It’s been a traumatic situation,” a source close to the situation told the news outlet.
Jolie has taken the steps in order to “stay strong for her kids”, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, while their lives have been in upheaval over the last fortnight.

It was reported last week that Jolie had rented a house in Malibu for her and her children, to keep things as normal as possible for them and to protect them from the whirlwind of media coverage that has followed this story.

“She did what she felt she had to do to protect the safety of the kids,” a different source said last week. “They didn’t leave the rental house for days. It was hard for all of them. They are used to more activities and more entertainment so it’s difficult for them to just stay at the house. The younger kids don’t understand what’s going on.”
After this, it was reported by Entertainment Tonight that she had moved her brood into another home in the gated community of Hidden Hills, California.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that an “absolutely devastated and heartbroken” Pitt has been staying at his home in Los Feliz as he prepares for a custody battle over the children.
