Attention all Adele fans: When you’re going to her concert, can you please put down the video cameras?
As the “Hello” singer continued her world tour in support of the album 25, one audience member grabbed her attention for not the best reason.
While performing in Verona, Italy, on Sunday evening, Adele couldn’t help but ask the fan to enjoy her show without one device.
“Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life,” the Grammy winner said in footage captured on social media. “You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera.”
She continued, “Can you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show. I’d really like you to enjoy my show because there’s lots of people outside that couldn’t come in.”
As you may have expected, many audience members began to cheer after Adele made her request. And while we understand the need to snap a photo here or there during a concert, a tripod does seem a little…much.
Besides, there is a whole lot to enjoy if you’re lucky enough to score a ticket into one of Adele’s shows.
On this tour alone, the “Set Fire to the Rain” singer has twerked on stage, helped a couple get engaged and even forgot a few lyrics. Don’t worry, nobody was mad especially with the way she reacted to the innocent mistake.
And lucky for fans in the United States, Adele is about to kick off the North American portion of her tour beginning this July.
While tickets are pretty hard to come by, we’re still not losing hope to see Adele perform “Someone Like You” and all her hits live. We promise to leave the tripods at home.
