Adam Levine received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday and made the special occasion a family affair.
The Maroon 5 singer was joined by his wife, model Behati Prinsloo, at the ceremony, along with their four month old daughter Dusty Rose, who was making her first public appearance.
Speaking at the ceremony Levine said: “I have a daughter, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world. I’m one of the luckiest people who’s ever lived and it has nothing to do with me, it has to do with the people who love me the most. And so I thank all of those people.”
The singer and coach on ‘The Voice’ also paid tribute to his loyal fans, saying: ”Every single person that ever bought a record, every single fan that ever came to a concert, there are so many millions and millions of people who have helped me get to this point and to deny that would be foolish and arrogant so I am me because of you.”

Levine was presented his star by good friend and fellow ‘The Voice’ coach Blake Shelton, who attended the event with girlfriend Gwen Stefani. Taking to the podium he joked: “Imagine my disappointment when I found out that this isn’t a roast.”
But joking aside, Shelton went on to call his friendship with Levine “one of the most important” in his life. “If you would have told me then that this guy was going to end up being one of my best friends, I would’ve called you crazy,” the country singer added.
Reflecting on the honour after the ceremony, the 37-year-old told People: “I don’t know if it has always been a dream of mine because it always seemed like not something that was ever going to happen. It’s really surreal. Having my family and my wife and daughter here — I wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
