The Mean Girls actress managed to put one over on the media and get married in near total secret.
Most folks patrolling the gossip sites today will know Lacey Chabert as the brilliant actress, who played the less than brilliant Gretchen Wieners in 2004’s Mean Girls. Well, you’ll be happy to learn that the all-grown-up 31-year-old actress has just gotten hitched!
The gorgeous Chabert is now a married woman.
Chabert announced her marriage on Twitter: “I’m starting off 2014 as a Mrs! Over the holidays, my best friends & love of my life…we became husband & wife! #soblessed #love”
Chabert even shared some photos from the big night, in which she can be seen hugging another woman, the maid of honor as Chabert explains in the status. The dress was a strapless beaded number with a sweetheart neckline. Lacey went with the traditional white, instead of pink, presumably because it wasn’t Wednesday.
What’s more unusual about this wedding, however, is that the Party of Five star is keeping the identity of her new husband a secret. That’s why her hair is so big, it’s full of secrets. We’re guessing it wasn’t Shane Oman in the projection room above the auditorium. Ok, it’s true, the Mean Girls jokes are getting a bit old. We should stop trying to make them happen.
They’re never going to happen. Now that that’s over and done with, congratulations to Mrs Chabert and her mystery man!
