Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has pleaded not guilty to breaching the conditions of his home detention sentence. Last month the 61 year old was arrested for breaching the strict conditions of his sentence by allegedly possessing and consuming alcohol at his home on New Zealand’s North Island.

When asked by reporters after the hearing if he was nervous about the case, the drummer replied: “No, the only thing I’m nervous about is I don’t, I don’t actually don’t know what’s going on.” The 61 year old has been allowed to remain in home confinement on bail, until the hearing regarding the alleged breach takes place in November.
If Rudd is found to be in breach of his conditions he could face further sanctions, including possible jail time. Rudd also told reporters he’d be spending his time on bail working on “Self-improvement.”

Recently Rudd told Australia’s ‘A Current Affair’ programme that he was ‘pretty stressed’ at the time he made the murder threat. “I got back [to Australia] and the people who I had working for me for this [album] launch – it was a total fucking disaster. So I was really pissed off,” he said.
”I’ve seen the errors of my ways… It’s onward and upward from here.” However Rudd did lose his place in AC/DC and has been replaced by former drummer Chris Slade in the band’s current line-up. It is not known if he’ll ever return to the band.
