Kim Kardashian West “knew something wasn’t right” just before she was robbed at gunpoint.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was home alone when she was robbed in Paris and admits at first she thought all the commotion was her personal assistant Stephanie Sheppard coming in from a night out.
She recalled: “I’m calling to them, like, ‘Hello? Hello?’ And there’s no answer. And then at that moment when there wasn’t an answer, my heart started to get really tense. Like, you know [when] your stomach just kind of knots up and you’re like, ‘OK, what’s going on?’ I knew something wasn’t quite right.”
Before she knew it, Kim realised the robbers were holding another man down – who she later identified as the hotel’s concierge – and revealed he had to act as a translator for them as the criminals only spoke French.
Speaking in a preview clip from the family’s E! reality show, she added: “[I saw] two guys holding another guy down, in police uniforms, right outside of my bedroom, five feet away …
“The guy came in and grabbed the phone from me, threw me on the bed, and I was like, ‘This is it.’ I couldn’t understand them, they couldn’t understand me. What I’ve heard from talking to [the concierge] afterwards is they said, ‘Where is the rapper’s wife? Let us up to her room.'”
It comes after Kim – who has North, three, and Saint, 15 months, with her husband Kanye West – recently admitted she thinks the Paris robbers targeted her because they could track her whereabouts on social media.
The 36-year-old television personality said: “What I think happened now, after like thinking about it so much, is that there was probably a group of guys that were following us the entire trip.
“I was Snapchatting that I was home and that everyone was going out. So I think they knew [bodyguard Pascal Duvier] was out with Kourtney and that I was there by myself.
“They had to have known we were leaving that I was there by myself. They had to have known we were leaving that day. They had this window of opportunity and just went for it.”
