‘Great British Bake Off’ judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry do not make the technical cakes featured in each episode on the show, it has been revealed.
The Sun reports that the baking masterpieces are actually made by experts hired by the show’s production team, baked while Paul and Mary sit in hair and make-up.

“They never have. They are baked on the day and Paul and Mary could never do that.”

A spokesperson for the show added to Metro.co.uk: “Mary and Paul are the judges on the show, it wouldn’t be possible or practical for them to bake their technical recipes due to their filming schedule and the need for the bakes to be freshly made and it has never been claimed that they do.”
‘The Great British Bake Off’ airs its final episode on the BBC this Wednesday.
