It is now safe to officially say that Gwen Stefani is over the moon.
Before hitting the stage at KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango festival tonight in L.A., the platinum-selling singer shared her thoughts on the week just passed—a week that started with her and Blake Sheltonperforming their new song, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” together live for the world to see on The Voice.
Now, they’ve taken the stage together before, but this time was quite different.
“That feels crazy,” Stefani told E! News, trying to wrap her head around the experience. “That feels extreme. Yeah…It feels like, ‘wow, that happened.’ I can’t believe I wrote a song with that guy.”

Well, it happened, Gwen, and your fans—not to mention Blake’s fans—couldn’t be more in love with it. Not to mention the two of you singing it.
“And then we got a chance to sing it together on The Voice,” she continued. “Like…and everyone got to see that. It was a miracle. It was incredible.”
Not only do miracles happen, but lighting can strike twice. Stefani and Shelton are set to duet again at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards next weekend.
No pressure. Your fans are only expecting your epic whirlwind romance to palpably play out again onstage for the world to swoon over.
And to think, Gwen’s unbelievable abs alone (well, coupled with her monochromatic two-tone ‘do) tonight could’ve carried the whole conversation!
“I just can’t believe I’m here right now at Wango Tango,” Stefani, who’s got her own tour coming up, added. “It just feels so exciting to have something new out there. And to have the opportunity to share my music with people.
“Sharing music is so spiritual you know, it’s so healing, so incredible, so I just feel honored.”
Preach, Gwen!
And to whet your whistle before the Billboard Music Awards on May 22, Shelton’s new album, If I’m Honest—featuring “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”—is out May 20.
