Family time continues to be the best time for this Bachelor couple.
Less than two weeks after traveling to Indiana to spend Easter weekend with Ben Higgins‘ family, the engaged pair headed out west to Oregon where it was time to hang with Lauren Bushnell‘s gang.
Whether playing a game of golf or enjoying a Portland Trailblazers basketball game, Ben was able to spend plenty of time with his leading lady’s extended family. But trust us, it looks like everyone had a wonderful time.
“Had a great trip to Portland. Feeling like an adopted Oregonian,” he shared on Instagram after enjoying a meal at Papa Haydn restaurant. “Thanks for the warm welcome, delicious food and beautiful weather. And Go Blazers!”
He added, “Picked up a new brother, only missing @bryantbushnell.”

Speaking of bros, fans witnessed Lauren’s family immediately bond during The Bachelor‘s hometown date episodes. Fast-forward to today and Ben has only strengthened his relationship with Lauren’s siblings including Brett Bushnell.
“I asked him the fantasy suite question just to start the brotherhood,” Brett joked on social media. “Couldn’t be happier to have @benhiggi as my new older brother.”
With such supportive families, fans may be curious to know when the wedding is coming. Sorry Bachelor nation, but these two are trying to take their time.

“I would love to do 2016, early 2017,” Ben recently shared with E! News. “I don’t want to rush is to the point where it’s stressful, but I also don’t want to wait too long.”
Besides, these two just want to enjoy activities than any other couple can experience away from the cameras.
“I think most of our days will consist of a lot of ‘Us Time,'” Ben explained on the Today show. “We need that in the public and just going out to dates and going out to dinner and going grocery shopping is something she really wants to do.”
