Donald Trump brought his presidential big to the ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Friday evening, getting both silly and serious with the talk show host. During his appearance on the show Trump discussed his vision for America under The Donald, while also participating in a sketch with Fallon.
Donald Trump is the forerunner for the Republican Party nomination for the 2016 presidential election.
In the sketch Fallon donned a wig and a Trump-esque suit to play the only person who’s really qualified to interview Donald, his own reflection. As Trump, Fallon asked the Republican candidate, “How are you gonna create great jobs in this country?”
“I’m just gonna do it,” Trump replied, adding, “By doing it. It just happens!” Before Fallon-as-Trump exclaimed “Geeeenius!”. When Donald got to the sofa Fallon then asked him the question we all wanted to, had he ever apologised for anything in his life?

“I fully think apologising is a great thing,” Trump answered. Adding, “But you have to be WRONG. … I will absolutely apologise sometime in the hopefully distant future if I’m ever wrong.”
Later things got more serious when Fallon asked Trump what he was doing to win support from voters that his fellow Republican candidates weren’t. “I think they want our country to be respected again,” Trump said.

“I think they feel that if I’m president, I will do some great things for our country, and we’re gonna be respected again…. There’s a movement going on, and it’s amazing to watch.”
But the pair also took time out to remember the 14th anniversary of 9/11, a day which Trump as a New Yorker remembers vividly. “In a certain sense it means strength, because the way the city came back, I’ve never seen anything like it,” Trump said. “And the country came back, and the city came back and there was a great strength and resilience that we have in this country. We have amazing people.”
