Britney Spears is focusing on her family life after splitting from her boyfriend of eight months, film producer Charlie Ebersol. The 33 year old singer posted a super cute shot of herself and eight year old son Jayden James Federline on Instagram Friday, showing her enjoying some family time following the split.
Britney and Charlie called it quits last week.
In the pic the singer beams as she poses with her youngest son while wearing an oversized straw hat and some dark sunglasses. Earlier in the day she also posted a pic of Jayden posing with a big dog while the two were out and about in Malibu, California. Along with Jayden, Spears also has a nine-year-old son Sean Preston, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Spears and Ebersol were reported to have called it quits last week after eight months of dating. The news was first reported on Monday by US Weekly, with a source telling the magazine, “I just felt that he was in it for the wrong reasons.”
While there’s still no official reason given for the split, an Ebersol family source has told People magazine, “It was obvious to everyone that it was going to happen. They’re still friends.” The couple were last seen together publicly on the red carpet of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17, where Ebersol gushed over the singer calling her ‘the most beautiful’ woman.

Ebersol had been a regular feature in Spear’s Instagram pics since the beginning of their relationship and he was frequently seen posing with the singer’s two sons. But since the split Spears has deleted all evidence of the film producer from her Instagram. While she’s yet to address the split publicly, Spears did post an inspirational note on Friday, which read, “Make today so awesome yesterday gets jealous.”
