Raid?!

According to Teresa Giudice‘s rep, a report that federal agents raided her and husband Joe Giudice‘s New Jersey mansion this week with the intent of seizing property to help pay the couple’s outstanding restitution in their fraud case is not true.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey also characterized the report as inaccurate.

A source had told Radar that authorities had seized possessions ranging from jewelry and televisions to the kids’ Christmas presents, which would not have been in keeping with the quiet, low-key holiday that the family has planned before Teresa starts serving her 15-month prison sentence on Jan. 5.

Joe will start serving his 41-month sentence on fraud and tax-evasion charges after Teresa is released.

Sources tell E! News that Teresa is using her final weeks of freedom to spend quality time with friends and family, carrying on as a full-time mother of four daughters as usual.

“She wants them [the kids] to be as affected by this as little as possible,” one insider said. “She’s been so excited, for example, by Gia’s budding music career. She knows how happy and busy it keeps Gia, and that’s all Teresa really wants for her girls.”

And the Giudice family is pretty used to making headlines of varying degrees of truthfulness by now.

Last week Teresa retweeted sister-in-law Sheila Giudice‘s post shooting down one tabloid report that claimed to have all the details on Teresa and Joe’s emotional “last Christmas together.”

“Don’t believe all that you read,” Sheila tweeted, posting the following caption: “
