The creators behind DreamWorks Animation’s hit film How To Train Your Dragon 2 – writer/director Dean DeBlois and producer Bonnie Arnold – sat down with Deadline’s Dominic Patten during Deadline’s recent The Contenders event to talk about the challenges and opportunities of building a beloved franchise about a boy and his dragon.
The film, distributed by Fox for DWA, grossed $ 618.7 million worldwide. The voice cast includes Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera and Jonah Hill, among other notables.
