Lending his talents to an upcoming flick, Ed Sheeran recorded a track for “The Fault in Our Stars” and released the music video on Friday (May 9).
Bringing out a number of emotions, the British singer dropped “All of the Stars” on his YouTube page with a clip that features a number of images of encouraging messages posted on a wall.
Ed’s new tune showcases his acoustic sound and features a softer rock approach, which is how the singer started out his career.
“It’s just another night / and I’m staring at the moon,” Sheeran sings at the beginning of the track, accompanied by warm piano notes, “I saw a shooting star and I thought of you.”
“The Fault in Our Stars” hit theaters on June 6 and stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.
