Los Angeles was hopping tonight as another magical award show took place at the Nokia Theater. On Sunday (June 29), the 2014 BET Awards went off without a hitch thanks to a hilarious hosting job by funny man Chris Rock.
In addition, talented celebs like Pharrell Williams took to the stage for amazing performances.
Big winners of the night included Lupita Nyong’o taking home the prize for Best Actress for her role in “12 Years a Slave.” In the music category, August Alsina beat out Ariana Grande for Best New Artist.
